I’m so excited to share this custom invitation design with you for Josh and Rachel’s engagement party! The client came to me wanting something fun, cute and custom. She had a champagne theme in mind and shared the design for the Save the Date.
Using colors that matched the Save the Date, I drew up a few sketches of what I had in mind. She ended up choosing this concept of the champagne bottle opening to the right of the text. I digitally drew the champagne bottle, painted it in in green and added a “J + R” in a heart where the label of the bottle would typically go. I used a script font for most of the text, and a block serif font for the names of the couple and the RSVP section.
On the back, I kept it simple. I added two cocktail glasses, added a ribbon to one, and this is where we have the list of the hosts. Overall, both my client and I were very happy with this final design and I can’t wait to make more. <3
